💆 A foaming facial cleanser from CIRCADIA built around HoneyBeads® — biodegradable beeswax microbeads that physically exfoliate and absorb excess sebum in a single cleanse step, purpose-built for oily and congested skin clients.

The beeswax microbead system does dual work: mechanical exfoliation lifts dead cells and refines surface texture, while the lipophilic wax matrix captures excess sebum without a separate desincrustation step. A mild sulfoacetate-and-betaine surfactant system generates a foamy lather that removes impurities at a skin-compatible pH, so the barrier isn't left compromised going into the rest of your facial protocol. Honey rounds the formula as a humectant, counteracting the after-dryness that foaming cleansers often leave on oily-but-not-resilient skin.

The eco-certified, plastic-microbead-free formulation also gives practices a sustainability-aligned retail story — clients managing congestion between appointments are natural candidates for a take-home unit.

Worth a place in the facial prep toolkit for any practice seeing a steady flow of oily and congested skin clients.

Benefits

  • Gentle Physical Exfoliation: Biodegradable HoneyBeads® (beeswax microbeads) physically dislodge and sweep away dead skin cells from the surface, helping to refine texture and restore a smoother-looking complexion without the environmental impact of synthetic plastic microbeads.
  • Effective Cleansing with Low Irritation Potential: A mild sulfoacetate-based surfactant system combined with coconut-derived Cocamidopropyl Betaine generates a foamy lather that removes impurities, makeup residue, and surface debris while minimizing the stripping effect common to harsher surfactant systems.
  • Excess Oil Absorption: The lipophilic wax matrix of the beeswax microbeads helps capture and remove excess surface sebum during the cleanse, making the product particularly well-suited to oily and congested skin types.
  • Skin-Compatible pH Maintenance: The surfactant system is formulated to work within a skin-compatible pH range, supporting the skin's natural barrier environment and helping to avoid the tight, uncomfortable after-feel associated with high-alkaline cleansers.
  • Eco-Friendly Exfoliation: Beeswax microbeads are a biodegradable alternative to synthetic plastic microbeads, aligning with eco-conscious service offerings and salon sustainability standards.

Active ingredients

Cera Alba / Copernica Cerifera Wax — HoneyBeads® Beeswax Microbead System: A dual-wax physical exfoliant system composed of organic beeswax (Cera Alba) and carnauba wax (Copernica Cerifera Wax) formed into biodegradable microbeads. The beads provide gentle mechanical exfoliation to lift dead skin cells from the surface while the lipophilic wax matrix absorbs excess sebum. This eco-friendly system replaces synthetic plastic microbeads, delivering the same physical resurfacing action without environmental persistence.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate / Cocamidopropyl Betaine — Mild Surfactant Cleansing System: A two-component surfactant system built around Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (an anionic sulfoacetate surfactant milder than SLS due to its larger molecular size and reduced skin penetration) and Cocamidopropyl Betaine (a coconut-derived amphoteric surfactant). Together they generate a foamy lather capable of removing impurities and excess sebum while buffering irritation. The amphoteric betaine also acts as a viscosity modifier and foam stabilizer, contributing to the product's characteristic foamy consistency.

Honey - known as Honey: A natural humectant and conditioning agent positioned in the formula's lower concentration range. Honey contributes mild hydrophilic moisture retention at the skin surface during the cleanse, helping counteract the drying effect common to foaming surfactant systems. Its presence supports the product's positioning as a cleanser suitable for oily but not moisture-compromised skin.

Ingredients

Aqua, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Sodium Methyl 2-Sulfolaurate, Cera Alba, Copernica Cerifera Wax, Acrylates Copolymer, Glycerin, Honey, Sodium Chloride, Caprylyl Glycol, Disodium 2-Sulfolaurate, Hexylene Glycol, Benzyl Benzoate, Aminomethylpropanol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Parfum, Coumarin

How to use

  1. Wet the client's face with lukewarm water to soften the skin surface and prepare it for exfoliation.
  2. Dispense a small amount of the cleanser onto fingertips.
  3. Apply to the client's damp face and gently massage in circular motions, allowing the beeswax microbeads to exfoliate the skin surface.
  4. Lather thoroughly across the full face, avoiding the eye area.
  5. Rinse completely with water until all product and exfoliant beads are removed.
  6. Pat the skin dry gently with a clean towel.
  7. Proceed with the next step of the facial service or apply appropriate follow-up treatment as indicated by the service protocol.

Service integration and client type guidance

This cleanser works well as a first-step treatment cleanse for oily and congested skin clients at the start of a facial service — the microbead exfoliation replaces a separate manual desincrustation step for mildly congested skin, potentially shortening prep time. For clients with sensitive or reactive skin presenting alongside oiliness, reduce massage time to minimize mechanical friction and follow immediately with a calming toner or serum to restore surface comfort.

Because the product contains two declared fragrance allergens (Benzyl Benzoate, Coumarin), it is worth noting these during intake for first-time facial clients with known fragrance sensitivity. This also creates a retail conversation opportunity: clients who respond well to the cleanser's texture and results are strong candidates for a home-use retail unit, particularly those managing oily or congested skin between appointments.
