The Oxygen Rx Facial System is Circadia's professional in-treatment oxygenating service. Just before application, the esthetician combines the Oxygen Rx Powder (Step 1B) with the Oxygen Gel Base (Step 1A); the two react into a light, pillowy foam that delivers a controlled amount of oxygen at the skin surface. The treatment feels warm and tingling as it works and is designed to leave skin looking brighter and more even, and feeling smoother, tighter, and more comfortable. It is nourishing and appropriate for all skin types, and is commonly built into a facial series for clients whose skin shows acne-related ruddiness, rosacea, or telangiectasia (visible broken capillaries).

Benefits

Brighter, more even look: Controlled oxygenation helps replace the ruddy look associated with acne, rosacea, and telangiectasia with a brighter appearance.

Smoother, tighter feel: When freshly activated, the oxygen foam leaves skin feeling smoother and tighter immediately after the service.

Calmer, more comfortable skin: The warm, gently tingling foam leaves the skin feeling calmer post-treatment.

Nourished, hydrated finish: The nourishing formula leaves skin feeling more hydrated across all skin types.

Active ingredients

Effervescent Oxygen Complex: Magnesium Peroxide with Magnesium Oxide and Magnesium Hydroxide (Oxygen Rx Powder, Step 1B), activated by Citric Acid when mixed into the Oxygen Gel Base (Step 1A) — releasing a controlled level of oxygen as a warm, pillowy foam on the skin surface.

Ingredients

Oxygen Gel Base — Step 1A: Aqua/Water/Eau, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Hexylene Glycol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid.

Oxygen Rx Powder — Step 1B: Citric Acid, Magnesium Oxide, Magnesium Hydroxide, Magnesium Peroxide, Xanthan Gum.

How to use

  1. Cleanse and prep the client's skin per your facial protocol.
  2. Combine the Oxygen Rx Powder (Step 1B) into the Oxygen Gel Base (Step 1A) and mix until a smooth, pillowy foam forms.
  3. Apply the activated foam evenly across the client's face (and décolleté, if treating).
  4. Allow the foam to remain on the skin as it generates oxygen; it will feel warm and tingle as it works.
  5. Remove the treatment thoroughly with damp sponges or a cloth.
  6. Finish the service with the appropriate serum, moisturizer, and daytime SPF.

Retail angle

Position Oxygen Rx as a course rather than a one-off — clients with persistent ruddiness typically respond best to repeated sessions spaced across the month. Use the visible in-service brightening as the retail-conversion moment to recommend a Circadia antioxidant/brightening take-home serum as the daily maintenance step.
