💆 A post-procedure recovery balm from CIRCADIA — purpose-built for the final step after peels, laser, and microneedling, when barrier-compromised skin needs immediate protection and calm.

The formula pairs Allantoin and Panthenol to quiet visible redness and the sensation of irritation, while Squalane delivers skin-identical lipid replenishment that reinforces the moisture barrier without a heavy or greasy finish. A biotech peptide, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-22, conditions stressed skin at the structural level — supporting a more resilient appearance in the 24–72 hours that determine how well a client recovers. The occlusive base, anchored by cocoa butter and beeswax, seals in that work and shields compromised skin from environmental exposure.

Beyond the treatment room, it functions as a daily leave-on moisturizer for dry, sensitive, or rosacea-prone clients — making it a natural retail conversion tied directly to your service.

A seamless fit for any peel or resurfacing practice that takes the recovery phase as seriously as the procedure itself.

Benefits

  • Post-Procedure Skin Recovery: Formulated specifically for use after professional treatments — including chemical peels, laser procedures, and microneedling — the balm helps the skin transition from a compromised, sensitized state toward a calmer, more comfortable appearance. Allantoin and Panthenol work together to address the sensation of irritation and dryness that follows barrier-disrupting services.
  • Calms the Appearance of Redness and Irritation: Allantoin, a skin-conditioning active, helps reduce the visible signs of irritation and the sensation of discomfort on sensitized or post-procedure skin. Panthenol reinforces this effect by conditioning the skin surface and supporting a visibly calmer appearance.
  • Lasting Moisture and Barrier Reinforcement: Squalane delivers skin-identical lipid replenishment that helps restore the skin's natural moisture barrier. The occlusive vehicle — incorporating cocoa butter, beeswax, and a blend of structuring waxes — locks moisture in and shields compromised skin from environmental exposure.
  • Biotech Peptide Resilience Support: Acetyl Tetrapeptide-22 (Thermostressine) is a biotech-derived peptide included at its engineered functional concentration. It helps condition skin exposed to procedural stress, supporting a more resilient and recovered appearance following aggressive professional treatments.
  • Skin Conditioning with Royal Jelly: Royal Jelly contributes a complex of naturally derived proteins and bioactive compounds that help condition sensitized skin. In this leave-on format, it complements the soothing actives and supports a more comfortable skin feel after procedures.
  • Daily Moisturizer for Dry or Sensitive Skin: Beyond post-procedure use, the balm's rich emollient and humectant system — including Glycerin, Squalane, vegetable oil blend, and cocoa butter — delivers deep hydration suitable as a daily moisturizer for dry, sensitive, or dehydrated skin types.

Active ingredients

Allantoin: A well-established skin-conditioning agent that helps calm the sensation of irritation and supports a more comfortable skin feel. At its functional threshold it softens and smooths the surface of compromised skin, making it a cornerstone ingredient in post-procedure recovery formulas.

Panthenol - known as Provitamin B5: A water-soluble provitamin that converts to pantothenic acid on the skin surface, helping to condition and soothe compromised skin. In leave-on applications, Panthenol supports the skin's moisture balance and contributes to a visibly calmer, more comfortable appearance after barrier-disrupting procedures.

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-22 - known as Thermostressine: A biotech-derived peptide that functions at trace concentrations to help support the skin's resilience under procedural stress. Acetyl Tetrapeptide-22 is engineered to condition stressed skin at the molecular level, contributing to a more resilient and recovered appearance in the days following aggressive treatments.

Squalane: A skin-identical emollient lipid that sits above the 1% line in this formula, providing occlusive moisture retention and a smooth, non-greasy feel. As a component of the brand's Squalane Butter 45 complex, it reinforces the skin's lipid barrier, helping to lock in moisture on skin that has been compromised by professional procedures.

Royal Jelly: A bioactive complex derived from honeybee secretions, containing proteins, fatty acids, and bioactive compounds. In leave-on skin-care applications, Royal Jelly contributes to the appearance of soothed and conditioned skin, complementing the primary soothing actives in this recovery formula.

Ingredients

Aqua/Water, Vegetable Oil, Glycerin, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter, Squalane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sodium Polyacrylate, Beeswax, Allantoin, Panthenol, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-22, Hydroxyethylpiperazine Ethane Sulfonic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Royal Jelly, Behenyl Behenate, Phenoxyethanol, Tribehenin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hexylene Glycol, Tetrasodium Diacetate Glutamate

How to use

  1. Ensure the client's skin has been gently cleansed or neutralized following the procedure, per standard post-treatment protocol.
  2. Dispense a small amount of balm onto a clean fingertip or spatula.
  3. Apply a light, even layer to the treated area using gentle, non-dragging strokes — avoid any rubbing or friction on sensitized skin.
  4. Allow the balm to remain on the skin undisturbed; do not rinse off.
  5. For post-peel or post-procedure use, apply immediately after the treatment session as the final recovery step.
  6. For clients with dry or dehydrated skin requiring daily hydration, apply to cleansed skin morning or evening as a moisturizer.
  7. Avoid contact with the eye area.
  8. Do not apply to broken or open skin.

Post-procedure application and retail moment

When applying immediately after a peel or resurfacing procedure, use a minimal amount — the balm is occlusive and a thin layer is sufficient to protect and comfort the skin without occluding air circulation excessively. Excess product can be gently blotted, not rubbed. For clients undergoing a series of treatments (peel series, laser sessions), this is a natural retail conversion moment: demonstrate the in-clinic application, explain why a recovery balm is essential in the 24–72 hours post-procedure, and recommend the retail size for continued home-care use between sessions. Clients with sensitive or rosacea-prone skin who respond well in-clinic are strong candidates for this product as a daily leave-on moisturizer.
