🧪 A professional-grade light chemical peel built on Lactic Acid and Mandelic Acid — designed for estheticians who need reliable exfoliation results across a wide range of skin types, including reactive and sensitive clients.

Mandelic Acid's larger molecular structure exfoliates more gradually than glycolic acid, making this formula effective without the aggressive response that sidelines sensitive clients. The two-phase application protocol — apply, remove, re-apply — primes the surface on the first pass so the second pass works on clean, prepped skin. Dwell time scales from 1–3 minutes for new clients to up to 9 minutes for deeper exfoliation, giving you precise control over intensity per session. Balloon Vine Extract and Saccharomyces/Zinc Ferment support visible calming and surface balance post-peel, so the finish reads clean — not red — in the mirror. Paraben-free formulation.

A strong fit for estheticians building a consistent peeling menu across diverse client skin profiles.

Benefits

  • Surface exfoliation and skin renewal: Lactic Acid and Mandelic Acid dissolve the bonds holding dead skin cells to the surface, accelerating cell turnover and revealing a smoother, more refined skin texture with each timed service.
  • Visibly brighter, clearer complexion: The combination of Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid, Hibiscus Extract, and Pumpkin Fruit Extract works across both acid-based and enzymatic exfoliation pathways, helping to reduce dullness and uneven tone for a noticeably brighter appearance.
  • Gentle enough for sensitive skin: Mandelic Acid's larger molecular structure and Balloon Vine Extract's visible calming properties make this formula suited to reactive and sensitive skin types, delivering effective exfoliation with a reduced risk of post-service redness.
  • Customizable exfoliation depth: The protocol-driven dwell time — from 1–3 minutes for first-time clients up to 9 minutes for deeper peeling — allows the professional to titrate exfoliation intensity to each client's skin condition and tolerance.
  • Post-exfoliation skin-surface conditioning: Saccharomyces/Zinc Ferment supports the skin's surface environment after exfoliation, helping the complexion appear more balanced and receptive to the conditioning and mask steps that follow the service.

Active ingredients

Lactic Acid: The primary alpha-hydroxy acid active in this formula, Lactic Acid works by loosening the bonds between dead surface cells to accelerate desquamation, visibly smoothing texture and brightening skin tone with each timed application.

Mandelic Acid: A larger-molecule AHA derived from bitter almonds, Mandelic Acid exfoliates more gradually than glycolic acid, making it particularly well-suited for sensitive or reactive skin types while still delivering smoothing and clarity benefits.

Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract - known as Hibiscus Extract: A natural source of fruit acids and gentle exfoliating compounds, Hibiscus Extract supports the AHA system by contributing mild enzymatic and acid exfoliation activity, helping to refine skin texture alongside the Lactic and Mandelic Acids.

Cardiospermum Halicacabum Flower Extract - known as Balloon Vine Extract: A botanical extract known for its calming properties, Balloon Vine helps visibly reduce the appearance of redness and sensitivity that can arise after chemical exfoliation, supporting client comfort during and after the service.

Cucurbita Pepo Fruit Extract - known as Pumpkin Fruit Extract: Rich in enzymes and beta-carotene, Pumpkin Fruit Extract contributes a secondary enzymatic exfoliating action and antioxidant properties, helping to smooth and brighten the skin surface in complement to the AHA acids.

Saccharomyces/Zinc Ferment: A yeast-derived ferment combined with zinc, this biotech ingredient helps support the skin's surface environment and microbiome, contributing to a balanced post-exfoliation complexion and improved receptivity to subsequent treatment products.

How to use

  1. Cleanse the client's skin thoroughly and complete any pre-exfoliation preparation steps per standard facial protocol.
  2. Apply the AHA Gel evenly to the treatment area using a brush, avoiding the eye contour, lips, and any broken or irritated skin.
  3. For first-time clients: allow the product to remain on the skin for 1–2 minutes, then remove with moistened cotton pads.
  4. For first-time clients: re-apply the gel and allow it to remain for an additional 2–3 minutes, then remove with compresses soaked in cool water.
  5. For clients who have previously received this treatment: allow the first application to remain for 3 minutes, then remove with moistened cotton pads.
  6. For experienced clients: re-apply and allow the product to remain for an additional 3–6 minutes, then remove with compresses soaked in cool water.
  7. For a deeper peel result on appropriate clients: the product may be left on for a total of up to 9 minutes per application phase.
  8. Complete removal of all product with cool water compresses, ensuring no residual acid remains on the skin.
  9. Finish the service by applying Arlacengel followed by a calming or soothing mask appropriate for the client's skin type.

Pro tips for this service

The two-phase application protocol — remove, re-apply, remove — is central to this formula's design. The first pass clears surface debris and primes the skin; the second pass delivers the primary exfoliation action on a cleaner surface. Do not skip the interim removal step even under time pressure, as it directly affects result consistency.

This is a strong retail conversion moment: after removing the mask and showing the client their skin in the mirror, explain that maintaining the post-peel barrier at home with a gentle, non-acid moisturizer extends the brightness result and prepares the skin for the next in-clinic session. Link the home-care recommendation to the visible outcome the client can see right now.
