🧪 A leave-on AHA moisturizer built for facial service integration — Christine Valmy's Embryoval AHA Moisturizer layers a triple-acid blend (Lactic, Malic, and Tartaric Acids) with Retinol and high-concentration Grapeseed Oil to resurface, replenish, and condition in a single step.

The multi-acid system progressively smooths texture and softens the appearance of expression lines, while Retinol reinforces visible anti-aging support over continued treatments. Grapeseed Oil and Glycerin work together to restore surface lipids and lock in moisture — making this especially effective on dry, dehydrated, or mature skin. A Milk Protein and Lactose complex helps calm the skin surface post-exfoliation, keeping the formula workable even for reactive clients.

✨ Applied under a finishing mask, the occlusive layering technique amplifies ingredient absorption and opens a natural retail conversation around at-home AHA and Retinol maintenance.

For estheticians whose mature and dehydrated clients need exfoliation and nourishment in the same facial service.

Benefits

  • Gentle AHA Exfoliation: The triple-acid blend of Lactic, Malic, and Tartaric Acids works at the skin surface to dissolve the bonds between dead cells, visibly smoothing texture and reducing the appearance of expression lines with continued professional use.
  • Visible Anti-Aging Support: Retinol — the most potent cosmetic form of vitamin A — helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and dullness over time, complementing the AHA exfoliation to deliver a more youthful-looking result.
  • Deep Emollient Conditioning: Grapeseed Oil, positioned at a high concentration in the formula, replenishes the skin's surface lipid layer, leaving dry or dehydrated skin noticeably softer and more supple after treatment.
  • Improved Surface Hydration: Glycerin draws moisture to the skin surface and helps retain it throughout the leave-on period, supporting a plump, comfortable finish especially beneficial for dry and dehydrated skin types.
  • Skin-Softening Protein Conditioning: Hydrolyzed Egg Protein and the Lactose/Milk Protein complex together deposit a fine conditioning film on the skin surface, helping smooth texture and enhance the velvety after-feel following exfoliation.
  • Soothing Post-Exfoliation Comfort: The Lactose and Milk Protein complex calms the skin surface after AHA exfoliation, making the product suitable even for clients with dry, sensitive, or reactive skin who require a gentler treatment experience.

Active ingredients

Malic Acid / Tartaric Acid / Lactic Acid — Multi-Acid AHA Blend: Three alpha hydroxy acids working together to gently resurface the skin surface: Lactic Acid (the gentlest, also a humectant), Malic Acid, and Tartaric Acid deliver progressive surface exfoliation that helps smooth the look of expression lines and refine skin texture in a leave-on application.

Retinol: The free alcohol form of vitamin A — the most biologically active retinoid used in cosmetics — which helps improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture, and dullness over continued use; trace-effective at sub-1% concentrations, as is standard for retinol in leave-on formulations.

Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil - known as Grapeseed Oil: A lightweight, linoleic-acid-rich emollient oil positioned as a hero ingredient (position 3), providing rich lipid conditioning that helps replenish the skin's surface barrier, improve suppleness, and deliver a soft, non-greasy finish.

Hydrolyzed Egg Protein: A low-molecular-weight protein hydrolysate that forms a flexible conditioning film on the skin surface, helping improve the feel of texture and contributing to a temporarily firmer, smoother appearance.

Lactose (and) Milk Protein: A supplier blend of lactose (a sugar humectant) and milk-derived protein, which together soothe and hydrate the skin surface while the protein fraction contributes soft conditioning and a smooth after-feel.

Glycerin: A high-concentration humectant (position 4) that draws moisture to the skin surface and helps maintain hydration throughout the leave-on wear period, forming the moisture-retention backbone of the formula.

How to use

  1. Cleanse the client's face thoroughly and pat dry before beginning the treatment service.
  2. Perform any prior massage or exfoliation steps in the facial service protocol before applying this product.
  3. Dispense a small amount of Embryoval AHA Moisturizer onto a clean spatula or fingertips.
  4. For dry or dehydrated skin: apply the product during the third massage or penetration massage phase of the facial service.
  5. For all skin types: apply the product around the client's eye area and mouth expression lines before applying the final mask.
  6. Smooth the product evenly over the treatment area using light, upward strokes.
  7. Allow the product to remain on the skin as a leave-on treatment; do not rinse.
  8. Apply the finishing mask (e.g., Cherry Mask or Cellular Mask) directly over the product for enhanced penetration and benefit.
  9. Proceed with the standard mask processing and removal steps per the service protocol.
  10. Complete the facial service with appropriate finishing steps, including sun protection recommendation for daytime exposure following AHA treatment.

Professional service integration

The leave-on application under a mask creates an occlusive environment that enhances ingredient absorption — particularly beneficial for Retinol and the emollient oils. For mature or markedly dehydrated clients, this layering technique with the Cellular or Cherry Mask represents a strong retail upsell moment: explain the in-service benefit of the AHA + Retinol combination and recommend a compatible home-care AHA moisturizer or retinol serum to extend results between appointments. For first-time AHA clients or clients with reactive skin, monitor the treatment area during the mask phase and remove promptly if any persistent erythema develops beyond mild transient flushing.
