🧪 A dual-action enzyme-and-physical exfoliating mask built around a multi-form Vitamin C system — designed for estheticians who need reliable brightening and surface prep in a single, time-efficient step.

Four chemically distinct Vitamin C forms, combined with Papain and Pineapple enzymes plus Orange Peel Powder, work two pathways at once: enzymatic breakdown of dead-cell bonds and physical buffing of surface debris. The result is a visibly smoother, more luminous skin surface that absorbs follow-on serums and treatment products more effectively — a meaningful advantage in structured facial protocols. With a 5–7 minute processing window, it fits cleanly as a pre-event brightening add-on or a protocol-stage exfoliant for dry, mature, or congestion-prone clients alike. Allantoin and Balloon Vine extract keep post-exfoliation comfort high, extending its use to normal-to-sensitive skin types.

A strong fit for estheticians building same-day-event or anti-aging facial menus where exfoliation, brightening, and prep happen in one step.

Benefits

  • Multi-Mode Exfoliation: Combines enzymatic exfoliation from Papain and Pineapple Fruit Extract with physical buffing from Orange Peel Powder and Pumice to remove dead surface cells through two distinct mechanisms simultaneously, leaving skin surface noticeably smoother and more refined after a single service.
  • Instant Brightening & Even Tone: The Multi-Form Vitamin C System (four Ascorbic Acid forms) and Phytic Acid target tyrosinase activity at the skin surface to help reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation, with immediate post-mask luminosity visible due to concurrent physical and enzymatic exfoliation revealing fresher cells.
  • Antioxidant Surface Protection: Four complementary Vitamin C forms deliver antioxidant coverage across both water-soluble and lipid-soluble skin environments, helping protect the skin's surface appearance from oxidative stress during the treatment window.
  • Soothing Post-Exfoliation Comfort: Allantoin and soothing botanicals (Balloon Vine extract, Aloe) help moderate the appearance of post-exfoliation sensitivity, making this mask suitable for use on clients with normal-to-sensitive skin types.
  • Improved Ingredient Penetration: By removing the layer of dead surface cells through enzyme and physical exfoliation, the mask prepares a cleaner skin surface that supports more effective uptake of subsequent serums and treatment products applied in the same service.

Active ingredients

Ascorbic Acid / Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate / Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate / Ascorbyl Palmitate — Multi-Form Vitamin C System: Four chemically distinct Vitamin C forms — water-soluble free acid (Ascorbic Acid), stable water-soluble phosphate salts (Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate), and lipophilic ester (Ascorbyl Palmitate) — delivering antioxidant protection across both aqueous and lipid phases of the skin surface while collectively providing tyrosinase-inhibiting activity to help reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation.

Papain: A well-characterized cysteine protease enzyme derived from papaya that selectively breaks down the keratin bonds holding dead surface cells together, enabling gentle removal of the outermost layer of the stratum corneum to reveal a smoother, more refined skin surface without mechanical abrasion.

Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Powder: Finely milled orange peel particles that act as a natural physical exfoliant, buffing away surface dead cells and dulling debris to immediately improve skin texture and promote a brighter-looking complexion.

Ananas Sativus (Pineapple) Fruit Extract: A pineapple-derived extract containing bromelain-class enzymes alongside antioxidant phytochemicals, contributing additional enzymatic exfoliation alongside Papain and complementary brightening activity to help improve the appearance of skin radiance.

Allantoin: A well-established soothing and skin-conditioning active that helps calm the appearance of post-exfoliation sensitivity, supports a comfortable client experience during and after enzymatic and physical exfoliation, and contributes to a smoother-feeling skin surface.

Phytic Acid: A naturally derived chelating and brightening active that inhibits tyrosinase activity and chelates pro-oxidant metal ions at the skin surface, extending the antioxidant effect of the Vitamin C system while contributing to a more even-looking skin tone.

How to use

  1. Ensure the client's skin is thoroughly cleansed and free of makeup, sunscreen, and surface oils before application.
  2. Using a mask brush or spatula, apply a medium-thick, even layer of the mask to the client's face, avoiding the eye area.
  3. Leave the mask on for 5 to 7 minutes; advise the client that a slight tingling sensation may occur, particularly for sensitive skin types.
  4. For sensitive skin clients, remove the mask by gently pressing cool-water-soaked cotton compresses onto the skin and lifting — avoid rubbing.
  5. For normal-to-oily skin clients, remove the mask using cotton pads soaked in cool water, using gentle outward strokes.
  6. Follow immediately with a hydrating cream appropriate for the client's skin type to restore moisture barrier comfort post-exfoliation.
  7. For oily skin protocols: apply after Christine Valmy Lotion X to remove melted surface oils, then follow with Special Crème No. 11.
  8. For dry or dehydrated skin protocols: apply after cleansing and before penetration-phase products to allow maximum uptake of subsequent treatment ingredients.
  9. For the Instant Beautifying Treatment: apply mask with a brush after cleansing; remove, then apply a thick layer of a hydrating cream (such as Valissima or Embryoval), massage into the skin, apply the Instant Beautifying Mask on top, remove, and proceed to makeup application.

Protocol integration & client type guidance

This mask functions as a pre-penetration step in structured facial protocols: for dry and mature clients, placing it before serums and treatment ampoules maximizes the surface-prep benefit. For oily or congested clients, sequencing after a degreasing lotion reduces exfoliating load on a lipid-dense surface. The 5–7 minute window is intentionally short, making this suitable as a pre-event service — consider offering it as an add-on brightening step before weddings, galas, or photoshoots for retail and upsell value. For first-time clients or clients with reactive skin, begin at 5 minutes and monitor tingling carefully; the enzyme activity increases with dwell time, so 5 minutes is the conservative starting point. The cool-water removal technique for sensitive clients is not merely a comfort measure — it also closes pores and reduces transient redness, improving immediate post-treatment skin appearance for makeup application.
